protect our companion animals. We can't stop, and
won't, just because someone thinks its "old news". ITS NOT!
Keep an eye on our website and or other websites that are about
the Pet Food Recall. Watch for the bills that are in

Shane and Sia Barbi, The Barbi Twins, founders of the Kitty
Liberation Front, have been long involved with animal
rights. After the loss of their cat “Cutest” to the recent
tainted pet food, the Barbi Twins and Ken Wahl joined a Class
Action Lawsuit with Blim & Edelson, LLC. Any money they might
receive from the lawsuit will go directly into animal
charities.
In conjunction with other groups dedicated to the same cause,
the Barbi Twins, Jennifer Pryor, Amy Nelson (Willie Nelson's
daughter) and other celebs, will participate in a nationwide
event to be held in communities all across the nation on July
13. Some events will include picketing against poor pet food
safety regulations, marches to gain support for the cause,
music dedications and memorial events. These celebrities will
be participating in a memorial event to recognize the many
beloved companion animals who lost their lives in the recent
tragedy, including those animals that lost their lives due to
the needless testing of the suspected tainted food products on
them.
Amy Nelson and her band Folk Uke will be performing at the
Woodyfest folk festival in Okemah, OK. Bands will be
dedicating songs for the memorial of the poisoned animals
The Barbi Twins have also formed a legislation group with other
celebrities called
"Americans for Animal Protection and Legislative
Enforcement United"
(AAPLEUnited)
to inform, amend, push and enforce bills such as the
Federal Pet Food Safety Act. |

Directions to
Candlelight Vigil |
|
|
|
Come and support the
Cause |
Come and help us to honor
those animals poisoned by the pet food industry.
Bring family and friends. The vigil will also help alert
our lawmakers to pass much needed legislation that will
protect our animal companions from future food poisoning.
You can bring a candle-like light, such as flashlights or
glow sticks (for safety) and posters / pictures of your
companion animal, even if not affected by recall directly.
This is about their future!
But mostly
just come to support the innocent victims of the recent
pet food recall.
